ABN AMRO and Worldline extend partnership to revolutionize payment services

ABN AMRO has extended its long-term partnership with Worldline to keep improving payment services for customers. The deal ensures the bank can offer modern, reliable solutions backed by Worldline's advanced technology.

The collaboration focuses on key payment services, including card issuing, personalisation, SEPA Credit Transfers, and Instant Payments. Worldline's technology stack will help ABN AMRO deliver faster, more secure transactions for its clients.

Erica Kostelijk, Head of Product Unit Transaction Banking at ABN AMRO, highlighted the importance of the partnership. She stressed that it guarantees reliable, high-quality, and future-ready payment options for customers. Madalena Cascais Tomé, Chief Processing and Financial Institutions at Worldline, also praised the ongoing cooperation. She noted that both companies aim to drive innovation in the payments sector together. By March 2026, Worldline will already be working with over 20 banks and financial institutions across the Netherlands. Major names like ING, Rabobank, Bunq, and Knab will also use similar payment solutions provided by the company.

The extended agreement strengthens ABN AMRO's ability to provide cutting-edge payment services. With Worldline's support, the bank will continue enhancing its offerings in the Dutch market. The partnership also reflects a broader trend of financial institutions adopting advanced payment technologies.
