HAVAG boosts late-night bus safety with 24/7 security teams
HAVAG is expanding its in-house security service to improve passenger safety. The move comes after growing demand for greater protection during late-night travel. Security staff will now operate on the company’s buses around the clock. Security personnel will be deployed every day from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. A second mobile team with a flexible response vehicle will also patrol the network nightly from 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM.
TINA vehicles will feature an intercom system for direct video communication with drivers. If needed, this system can activate a live feed to the transport control centre. The upgrades aim to enhance safety for passengers and staff. The expansion means security staff will now be present on HAVAG buses. The new measures are designed to address concerns about late-night safety. Passengers can expect a more visible security presence during their journeys.
