Khabarovsk Krai launches major road repairs linking Pereyaslavka and Argunskoye

A major road repair project has started in Khabarovsk Krai. The work focuses on the route connecting Pereyaslavka and Argunskoye under Russia’s Infrastructure for Life initiative. The road serves as a key link between the village and the municipal centre of Pereyaslavka. The upgrades cover a 3.7-kilometre stretch from the 8th to the 11th kilometre. The project is part of the federal Regional and Local Road Network programme. Crews have already begun clearing roadside areas and drainage ditches of overgrowth and debris.

The full scope of work includes replacing the pavement and reinforcing the shoulders. Parking areas and bus stops along the route will also be renovated. New road signs and horizontal markings will be installed as part of the improvements.

Starting June 24, workers will lay the levelling course of asphalt concrete. The contractor, Dorservis Road Construction Company LLC, is carrying out the project under a 99 million ruble contract. The entire project must be finished by August 15 of this year. The upgraded road will improve traffic safety for all users. It will also enhance transport accessibility for residents of Argunskoye. The work follows a detailed plan with 14 key phases to ensure completion on schedule.
