Krasnodar imposes fuel rationing as shortages disrupt gas stations

Fuel shortages have led to restrictions at some gas stations in Krasnodar. Drivers can now only refuel directly into their vehicle tanks. Officials are urging residents to avoid panic buying to prevent artificial shortages. As of 28 June 2023, Krasnodar has over 50 operational gas stations. However, 47 have temporarily stopped selling fuel, and 8 are closed for repairs or rebranding. Of the active stations, 41 offer AI-92 gasoline, 40 provide AI-95, 41 stock AI-100, and 45 supply diesel.

In Novorossiysk, 13 stations are rationing fuel, limiting purchases to 20, 50, 80, or 100 litres per car. Nearby, Temryuk District has 27 functioning stations. Meanwhile, Sochi remains unaffected, with 46 of its 58 stations running normally. The measures aim to manage fuel distribution fairly. Authorities continue to monitor the situation closely. Residents are advised to refuel only as needed to maintain supply stability.
