Soviet-Era Electric Train Returns for Weekend Scenic Rides in Vladivostok

A Soviet-era electric train will soon operate on weekends in Vladivostok. The service launches on July 4, offering a nostalgic journey along a scenic route. The train will run on Saturdays and Sundays only. The four-car ER-9 series train will follow a special 'beach route' to Ugolnaya station. It will depart from Vladivostok station at 10:27 a.m. and reach Ugolnaya by 11:14 a.m.

The return trip starts at 3:11 p.m. and arrives back in Vladivostok at 4:00 p.m. The schedule remains consistent for both weekend days. The retro train provides a direct link between Vladivostok and Ugolnaya. Passengers will experience a piece of railway history while enjoying coastal views. The service begins in early July and runs every weekend.
