Claude Code launches Artifacts to streamline team collaboration

Claude Code has introduced Artifacts, a new feature for presenting session results as interactive web pages. The tool is now available in beta for Claude Team and Enterprise users. It aims to streamline how teams share and review work from coding sessions. To create an Artifact, users can request one during a session or ask for a visual output. Each Artifact compiles the full session context, including code, connected tools, and conversation history. This provides a complete snapshot of the work done.

By default, Artifacts remain private and are only visible to authenticated members of the user’s organisation. Administrators manage access through role-based permissions and set retention policies. Sharing is possible via a browser or the desktop app, with options available in the header.

Artifacts update automatically under the same URL whenever changes occur, with version history preserved. This ensures teams always view the latest iteration. Access is also available through the Claude Code command-line interface and desktop application.

Potential uses for Artifacts include PR walkthroughs, incident timelines, license audits, and architecture overviews. The feature is currently in beta for select customers. It offers a structured way to document and share session outputs. Teams can use it to improve collaboration and transparency in their workflows.
