A major development project is planned near Aldershot GO Station. The Transit Oriented Community (TOC) proposal includes six tall buildings and new residential units. Two public meetings will take place in July 2026 to discuss the plans. The proposed TOC aims to construct six buildings ranging from 30 to 48 storeys. These would add around 2,713 new homes and 2,086 square metres of retail and commercial space. The site is at 119 Masonry Crt., on provincial land owned by Metrolinx.
Infrastructure Ontario is leading the proposal under the Ministry of Infrastructure’s Transit-Oriented Communities program. As the land owner, the Province holds responsibility for the planning approval process.
A virtual meeting to discuss the project will be held on July 7, 2026, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. An in-person session is also scheduled for July 14, 2026, from 6 to 8 p.m. The meetings will provide opportunities for public input on the development. The project seeks to expand housing and commercial space near the GO Station. Approval will depend on the Province’s planning process.
