Western Railway adjusts Sunday schedule for NEET exam day
Western Railway has announced a change to its Sunday schedule for June 21. Suburban local trains will follow the regular weekday timetable that day. The adjustment is intended to support students taking the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET). The railway decided against its usual jumbo maintenance block on June 21. This ensures more trains remain available for passengers. Many NEET candidates in Mumbai depend on suburban services to reach their exam centres.
The change aims to handle the expected increase in travellers. Both examinees and daily commuters will benefit from the standard weekday service. Normal weekday timetables will operate on June 21. This should provide smoother travel for NEET candidates and regular passengers. The adjustment addresses the higher demand on that Sunday.
