Koblenz to Renew Sewage Pipes After Unexploded Ordnance Checks
The Koblenz municipal drainage authority has announced plans to renew sewage pipes in several streets. Work will take place along Diesterwegstraße, Devorastraße, and Fröbelstraße. Residents are urged to pay attention to upcoming instructions and signage. Before the renewal begins, unexploded ordnance inspections will be carried out in Devorastraße and Fröbelstraße. These safety checks are necessary before any construction can start.
The pipe renewal itself will begin with Devorastraße. The work will proceed in sections to minimise disruption. Separately, preparations for a new sewer channel in Goldgrube will commence on 15 June 2026. The authority will provide clear guidance for residents in the affected areas. Signage and official notices will be displayed in the coming days. The inspections and renewals are part of ongoing efforts to maintain the city’s drainage infrastructure.
