Omsk Governor Hocenko Reports on Road Repair Continuation in Tyukalin District

Omsk Region revives key highway with major road repairs in 2026

Road repair work is set to resume on the Bekishevo–Nagibino–Kutyrly highway in Tyukalinsky District, Omsk Region. Governor Vitaly Khotsenko announced the plans on Monday, April 6, 2026. The route is a vital connection for residents across several districts. The upgrades will focus on two sections of the highway: from the 6th to the 9th kilometre and from the 9th to the 16th kilometre. Contractors will remove the old asphalt-concrete surface and address frost heave zones. They will also install widening edge beams, smooth out uneven areas, and lay two new layers of asphalt.

Additional work includes reinforcing road shoulders and repainting lane markings. New traffic signs will be installed, and bus stops along with boarding platforms will be restored. Governor Khotsenko is personally overseeing all construction and repair projects in the region. The reconstruction aims to improve road safety and driving comfort for users. It will also strengthen transport links to nearby villages. The project is expected to bring long-term benefits to the local community.
