Krasnoyarsk Krai overhauls Yenisei River transport amid municipal reform

Passenger transport routes along the Yenisei River will change due to a municipal reform in Krasnoyarsk Krai. The adjustments affect several key services, including the removal of a high-speed line and the discontinuation of a seasonal route. Most other subsidised transport parameters will stay the same. The Borovoye dock has moved from Yemelyanovsky District to the urban district of Krasnoyarsk. This shift comes as part of broader administrative changes in the region.

The route to Borovoye, mainly used by older summer residents, will no longer operate. It previously offered 204 seasonal trips. Additionally, the high-speed passenger line from Torgovyy Tsentr to Borovoye has been dropped from regional plans.

Elsewhere, the number of trips on the Torgovyy Tsentr–Ust-Mana route will grow from 562 to 808. Between April and October, passengers on this route are served by the A 45-1 and Zarya-343R vessels, departing from Torgovyy Tsentr.

Other subsidised services remain unchanged. The regional budget still funds 202 trips on the Yeniseysk–Bor route and 40 on the Krasnoyarsk–Dudinka route. Overall, the key parameters for subsidised transport stay at 1,068 annual trips and 206,283 kilometres travelled. The reforms will end the Borovoye route and expand services to Ust-Mana. Other subsidised transport, including trips on the Yeniseysk–Bor and Krasnoyarsk–Dudinka routes, will continue as before. The total number of trips and kilometres covered will remain steady.
