Polina Osipenko District upgrades roads in Russia's 'Infrastructure for Life' push

A series of road and infrastructure improvements are underway in the Polina Osipenko District. These projects form part of Russia’s national ‘Infrastructure for Life’ initiative to upgrade local transport networks. Work has already finished on several key roads. Potholes on Amungskaya and Budirin Streets have been fully repaired. Nekrasov Street has received a complete resurfacing, and a section near the local history museum has been brought up to standard.

Other projects are still in progress. A problematic stretch on the Polina Osipenko–Briakkan route, prone to frost heave, is being stabilised. Repairs are also being made to the road between the district centre and the Nimelen River.

Beyond roads, additional improvements include a newly poured concrete pad for a future flagpole along the Amun Embankment. Fencing has also been installed around the Children’s School of the Arts. Upcoming plans involve further repairs on intersettlement routes and upgrades to the road along Lake Churinskoye. The upgrades are set to improve transport reliability across the district. Completed repairs and ongoing work aim to address long-standing issues on local roads. Further enhancements to infrastructure are scheduled in the coming months.
