Vladivostok invests 3.59M rubles to fix flooding on Naberezhnaya Street
Vladivostok city administration has set aside 3.59 million rubles for a stormwater drainage system upgrade. The project will address frequent flooding on Naberezhnaya Street, particularly near Ocean cinema. Heavy rain often causes disruptions in the area, affecting traffic flow. The reconstruction focuses on a 50-metre stretch of Naberezhnaya Street opposite Ocean cinema. Crews will install pipes with diameters of 315 mm and 500 mm to improve drainage. The work also includes landscaping and restoring the site after pipeline installation.
The auction to select a contractor will end on July 2. Once chosen, the team must finish all work by August 7. The completed project will come with a three-year warranty. The new drainage system aims to reduce flooding and related traffic issues in the area. The city expects the improvements to last well beyond the warranty period. All work must meet the deadline and quality standards set by the administration.
