Huawei Cloud Unveils Agentic Infra to Revolutionize AI Computing
Huawei Cloud INSPIRE 2026 began on 5 June at the West Bund International Convention & Exhibition Center in Shanghai. The event saw the launch of a new computing paradigm called Agentic Infra. Dr. Peter Zhou, Huawei’s board director and Cloud CEO, highlighted the growing influence of agentic AI on computing models. The company introduced Agentic Infra as a unified infrastructure for efficient, secure, and autonomous AI operations. It includes a token factory, continuous learning capabilities, and unified scheduling for general and AI workloads. Four new products under this framework were also revealed: AI Cluster Service, Agentic Memory Storage, CCE VolcanoNext scheduling engine, and AgentSphere.
Huawei Cloud also unveiled a full-stage security solution to protect the entire AI lifecycle. Alongside this, ModelArtsNext was presented as a next-generation platform for training and deploying foundation models in enterprise settings.
For industry-specific applications, four dedicated zones were added to the Industry AI Foundry. These cover smart healthcare, embodied AI, smart manufacturing, and scientific computing. Additionally, AgentArts—an enterprise-grade agent platform—entered open beta testing with a commitment to open-source development. The announcements mark a significant expansion of Huawei Cloud’s agentic AI offerings. The new infrastructure, platforms, and industry zones aim to support businesses in adopting advanced AI solutions. The event underscored the company’s focus on security, scalability, and open collaboration.
