Inspiration Mobility acquires Electrada to expand EV charging infrastructure

Inspiration Mobility Group has acquired key assets from Electrada. The deal includes Electrada’s team, project pipeline, charging depots, energy management software, and intellectual property. These will now support Inspiration’s charging infrastructure and energy management operations. Electrada currently runs over 375 depots for commercial fleets, from passenger vehicles to heavy Class 8 tractor-trailers. Its technology and expertise will integrate into Inspiration’s existing business.

Kevin Kushman, Electrada’s CEO, called Inspiration the natural fit for Electrada’s work. He cited their shared focus on delivering results for customers. Josh Green, founder and CEO of Inspiration Mobility Group, highlighted Electrada’s track record of providing reliable electric fuel at stable costs for complex fleets over millions of miles.

The combined company will now cover the full EV charging infrastructure stack. Services will include depot design, utility coordination, energy management, and ongoing operations through a turnkey Charging-as-a-Service programme. The acquisition allows Inspiration to support customers through every stage of electrification. This includes planning, vehicle deployment, charging infrastructure, and daily fleet management. It also positions the company to expand into heavy-duty commercial vehicles, distribution fleets, and autonomous vehicle operations.
