Inta's major road overhaul to begin in 2027 after years of delays

Authorities in Intа have announced plans to overhaul a key road in the town. The project aims to prevent future issues for residents by addressing long-standing problems with the route. In 2027, the road linking Intа’s railway station to the city centre will undergo a major overhaul. Preparations will include a full set of engineering surveys to assess the work needed.

The project will require relocating an asphalt-concrete plant, which has its own quality-control lab for testing materials and mixes. Before this, around 10 million rubles will be set aside in 2026 for pothole repairs on local roads. The overhaul is designed to resolve persistent road problems for years to come. Funds and resources are already being allocated to ensure the work proceeds as planned.
