Primorye's New Electric Trains Whisk Kids Directly to Summer Camps
Primorye Territory has introduced special electric trains to take schoolchildren directly to summer camps. The service eliminates the need for transfers, making travel smoother for young passengers. The first trips have already begun, marking the start of this year’s camp season. The dedicated trains have carried children to popular destinations. These include the Narechnoye health camp in Partizansk and the Gorky Camp near Ruzhino Station in Lesozavodsk. Each train transports around 300 children at a time.
The journeys follow strict safety and comfort rules. Medical staff, transport police, and railway employees supervise the children throughout the trip. Parents can hand their children over to chaperones at major stations along the route.
A total of 12 special services are planned for the summer. The demand for these dedicated children’s trains remains strong in the region. The new direct rail service provides a convenient way for children to reach summer camps. It ensures safe and comfortable travel without the hassle of changing trains. The programme is set to run all season, supporting families across Primorye Territory.
