Krasnodar Territory invests billions to upgrade roads by 2026
Krasnodar Territory has expanded its infrastructure significantly since 2019. Over a thousand facilities have been completed, including nearly 1,700 kilometres of roads. The region continues to invest heavily in its transport network. A major road renovation recently finished in Krymsky District. A two-kilometre section of the Andreeva Gora–Varennikovskaya–Anapa road has been upgraded as part of ongoing works.
The region’s Road Fund will receive 63.7 billion rubles by 2026. Of this, 9.4 billion rubles will support the *Infrastructure for Life* national project. This initiative is central to Krasnodar Territory’s development plans. Under the state program *Development of the Road Network of Krasnodar Territory*, further repairs are scheduled. By 2026, 210 kilometres of regional roads will be restored, with 16 sections covering 109 kilometres improved through the national project.
The investments will fund extensive road upgrades across the region. New infrastructure and repairs aim to enhance connectivity and support long-term growth. The projects align with broader national and local development strategies.
