Morgan Stanley Reveals 0.14% Fees for Proposed Ethereum and Solana ETFs

Morgan Stanley unveils fee structure for Ethereum and Solana ETFs with staking rewards

Morgan Stanley has revealed the fee structure for its planned spot Ethereum and Solana exchange-traded funds. Each fund would carry a 0.14% annual unitary fee. The move is part of the firm’s broader push into digital asset products. The proposed ETFs would allow a portion of their underlying ETH and SOL holdings to be staked through third-party providers. Rewards from staking would be added to each fund’s net asset value. Investors would receive 95% of these rewards, with the remaining 5% going to custodians and staking service providers.

Morgan Stanley Investment Management would cover most standard operating expenses from the 0.14% fee. The Ethereum ETF is set to trade on NYSE Arca under the ticker MSSE. Both funds remain subject to SEC review, public filing updates, and exchange approval before trading can commence.

The filings follow the SEC’s recent approval of T. Rowe Price’s multi-asset crypto ETF, which can include up to 15 digital tokens. Morgan Stanley’s latest step reflects its growing focus on Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana within its digital asset strategy. The proposed funds would introduce staking as a core feature. Trading cannot begin until all regulatory and exchange processes are completed. The fee structure and staking mechanism aim to provide clarity for potential investors.
