Acer's new Aspire AI laptops debut with Intel's Core Ultra Series 3 at CES 2026
Acer has unveiled its latest Aspire AI laptops at CES 2026, powered by Intel's new Core Ultra Series 3 processors. The line-up includes the Aspire 14 AI and Aspire 16 AI, designed for budget-conscious buyers while offering mid-range performance and flexible configurations.
Meanwhile, the company also showcased the TravelMate P6 14 AI, a high-end business laptop built for efficiency and portability with premium specs and extended battery life.
The Aspire 14 AI (A14-171 M/T) and Aspire 16 AI (A16-171M/T) will launch in the second quarter of 2026. Both models support up to 32GB of soldered LPDDR5X RAM and 2TB SSD storage. Display choices range from WUXGA IPS panels with 120Hz refresh rates to optional OLED screens, some featuring touch capability.
Most demo units at CES ran on Intel Core Ultra 5 300H or Core Ultra 7 300H chips. However, higher-end versions can be fitted with the Core Ultra 9 386H. Acer plans to keep base prices steady, though upgrades to faster processors or premium displays will raise costs.
In contrast, the TravelMate P6 14 AI targets professionals with an ultralight 14-inch design. It packs Intel's Core Ultra X series (e.g., Core Ultra 7 258V), integrated Intel Arc 140V graphics, and a 47 TOPS NPU for AI workloads. The business model boasts over 20 hours of battery life, a WQXGA+ display, and biometric security—features absent in the consumer-focused Aspire series.
The Aspire AI laptops will arrive in mid-2026 with a focus on affordability and adaptability. Their mid-range processors and display options cater to everyday users, while the TravelMate P6 14 AI serves professionals needing power and endurance. Acer's pricing strategy ensures entry-level models remain accessible, with higher-tier upgrades available at an additional cost.
