Astana boosts bus services with more vehicles on key routes

Astana has boosted its public transport services, increasing the number of buses on four urban and three express routes, reports our website, citing City Transportation Systems, the city's transport operator.

The changes affect several key routes:

  • Route No. 20 – 19 buses (previously 17)
  • Route No. 60 – 18 buses (previously 16)
  • Route No. 63 – 19 buses (previously 17)
  • Route No. 78 – 10 buses (previously 8)
  • Route No. 501 – 10 buses (previously 8)
  • Route No. 502 – 10 buses (previously 8)
  • Route No. 505 – 10 buses (previously 8)

Additionally, Route No. 63 will see extra buses on weekends, with four more vehicles added, bringing the total to 14 buses in service.

Transport authorities noted that these measures aim to reduce wait times and improve passenger service quality.

Recall that Astana launched three new express bus routes on January 25, two of which operate from the Nurly Zhol railway station.
