Astana's new light rail transit route map reveals 18 key stations

Astana’s new light rail transit (LRT) system has taken a step forward with the release of its official route map. The 22.4-kilometre line will connect the international airport to the Nurly Zhol railway station, passing through major areas of the capital. CTS City Transportation Systems published the map showing all 18 stations along the route. The LRT will serve both busy business districts and residential neighbourhoods, improving transport links across the city.

The line begins at the airport and follows a direct path to Nurly Zhol station. Each stop has been named and marked on the newly released map.

With 18 stations spread over 22.4 kilometres, the LRT aims to provide faster travel between key locations. The system is expected to ease congestion and offer a reliable alternative for commuters and travellers.
