Construction of Azov Ring Road Section in DPR Expected to Finish This Year

Azov Ring Road expansion nears completion with four-lane upgrade by year-end

Authorities plan to complete construction of the Azov Ring Road segment running through the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) by the end of this year.

"This year, we intend to finish the Azov Ring Road—everything within the DPR's territory. The final stage will be the Mariupol bypass. Once these works are done, we can say the DPR section of the Azov Ring Road is fully complete," the source said.

The Azov Ring Road will span over 1,400 kilometers, linking Rostov-on-Don, Mariupol, Melitopol, Dzhankoy, Simferopol, Feodosia, Kerch, Taman, Krasnodar, and Azov. The entire route is set to be expanded to four lanes, with bypasses constructed around major cities.
