Bayer upgrades global payments with Broadridge Swift migration success
Bayer AG has completed its move to the Broadridge Swift Service Bureau (SSB). The upgrade modernises the company’s global payment systems and strengthens its financial messaging capabilities. The migration was carried out using an agile, team-based approach. It involved testing message exchanges with more than 20 of Bayer’s banking partners. The new system now handles over 4 million payment transactions each year across a network of over 80 banks worldwide.
Broadridge provided a secure, scalable platform that meets Swift SCORE+ performance standards. The updated infrastructure supports complex integrations, strict validation checks, and full ISO 20022 compliance. This ensures Bayer’s financial communications remain standardised and protected.
Marcel Bennemann, Bayer’s project manager, confirmed the migration reinforces the company’s global treasury operations. The successful launch delivers a future-proof Swift messaging model designed for growth and efficiency. The new system replaces Bayer’s older payment framework with a more robust solution. It improves connectivity, security, and scalability for the company’s worldwide banking relationships. The upgrade aligns with industry standards while supporting Bayer’s long-term financial operations.
