Between The Bridges partners with SumUp for seamless payments and 2026 rebranding
Between The Bridges, a bustling Thames-side events destination, has chosen SumUp as its official payment partner. The deal covers all card transactions, point-of-sale systems, and QR code payments across the venue. It also includes naming rights, rebranding the space as Between The Bridges Powered by SumUp from the 2026 season onwards. The partnership brings together SumUp, a global fintech firm, and the London venue, which hosts around 50 independent traders and food vendors. From the 2026 season opening on 30 April, SumUp’s Solo card readers, POS systems, and QR payment technology will handle every transaction at the site.
SumUp’s tools are built to help small businesses work faster, with features like quick setup, next-day payouts, and no fixed costs. The company previously served as the official payment processor for the O2, the world’s busiest live entertainment venue. Marcus Weedon, Co-Founder and Director of Between The Bridges, welcomed the collaboration ahead of the 2026 season. Pierre Lion, Global Director of Enterprise Sales at SumUp, described the deal as a commitment to supporting independent businesses and local communities.
The agreement highlights SumUp’s ongoing investment in London’s independent and cultural sectors. All payments at Between The Bridges will now run through SumUp’s technology. The venue’s rebranding and upgraded payment systems will take effect from its 2026 launch.
