A bustling city street at night with pedestrians, vehicles, tents, streetlights, traffic signals, trees, and buildings, set against a sky illuminated by vibrant fireworks.

Biysk extends late-night transport for Victory Day fireworks crowds

Biysk will keep public transport running late on May 9 to help residents return home after the Victory Day celebrations. Fireworks along Petrovsky Boulevard will mark the occasion, with extra trams and buses scheduled for the evening.

The Victory Day fireworks display will start at 10:30 p.m. on Petrovsky Boulevard. Shortly after, at 10:45 p.m., Bus Route No. 23 will leave from the square at 149 Lenin Street. Tram Route No. 1 will also depart from the Central Hotel stop at the same time.

At 10:50 p.m., two more trams will set off: Route No. 3 from the Central Hotel stop and Route No. 5 from the Museum stop. These services aim to ensure smooth travel for those attending the celebrations.

The late-night transport options will give residents and visitors more ways to get home after the fireworks. Additional trams and buses have been arranged specifically for the post-event rush. All services will operate as scheduled on May 9.
