Biysk launches tender to combat spring and summer flooding risks

Starting contract price set at 5.92 million rubles

The administration of Biysk is seeking a contractor to pump meltwater and rainwater from accumulation sites across the city. The initial contract value stands at 5.92 million rubles, according to a notice posted on the Unified Information System for Public Procurement (EIS "Zakupki").

The Housing, Utilities, Landscaping, and Road Management Department of Biysk's administration is overseeing the project. Work must be completed by November 30, 2026, with the cost of pumping and transferring one cubic meter of water set at 646.67 rubles.

The effort is part of scheduled preventive measures during the spring and summer flood season, as well as to mitigate the impact of potential emergencies throughout 2026. Bids will be accepted until March 31, 2026, with auction results announced on April 2.
