Burien offers free air purifiers to combat local pollution

Burien residents can collect free air purifiers at a special event on Thursday, June 18. The initiative aims to help those affected by air pollution in the area. The distribution will take place from 2 to 6 p.m. in the Council Chamber at Burien City Hall. Supplies are limited, so purifiers will be handed out on a first come, first served basis.

To receive one, participants must complete a five-minute proctored survey. The event is a collaboration between the City of Burien, Eco Infinity Nation, King County Public Health, Neighborhood House, Integrated Public Services, and the Seattle Indian Business Association. The program provides a practical solution for residents concerned about air quality. Those who attend will leave with a free air purifier after finishing the required survey.
