Capital.com Enables MCP Server Plugin, Giving Traders Real-Time Account Access From Within Their AI Research Environments

Capital.com Unveils AI-Powered Trading Plugin for Seamless Market Access

Capital.com has launched a new MCP Server plugin for its clients. The tool connects a trader’s account directly to their preferred AI assistant on their own device. It provides live market data, portfolio details, and historical prices within the research environment. The plugin is free and open-source, allowing clients to link their Capital.com account to AI tools like Codex, Claude Desktop, or Cursor. It does not control the AI environments but runs locally on the user’s machine. Capital.com ensures it does not influence or suggest trading decisions, leaving all choices to the client.

Users can place trades directly from their AI assistant. A two-step preview and confirmation process is required before any trade is executed. The tool also offers access to aggregated client sentiment and open positions, streamlining the transition from research to action.

Clients have the option to test all MCP features in a demo environment before switching to a live account. Tarik Chebib, CEO for MENA at Capital.com, noted that the tool expands the information available to clients before making decisions, all within a regulated framework. Sasha Gubochkin, Chief Product Officer, added that the integration aims to create a smoother path from research to trading decisions. The MCP Server plugin is now available to Capital.com clients. It provides direct access to trading tools and market data through their chosen AI assistant. The company emphasises that all trading decisions remain the responsibility of the client.
