Chengdu Airlines relaunches Vladivostok-Shenyang direct flights after hiatus
Chengdu Airlines has restarted its regular service between Vladivostok and Shenyang. The route links the Russian city to one of China’s largest urban centres in just under two hours. Flights operate twice a week with no other options available. The airline previously ran this connection in 2025. It now uses an Airbus A320 for the journey. Shenyang Taoxian International Airport serves as the arrival point, sitting 20 kilometres south of the city centre.
Chengdu Airlines is headquartered in Sichuan Province. Its main hub is Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport. While it mostly flies domestic routes within China, this service extends its reach to Russia. The resumed route offers a direct link between Vladivostok and Shenyang. Flights take about 1.5 hours each way. The twice-weekly schedule provides the only air connection between the two cities.
