CIGA Design's $1,999 Hunter Tourbillon Redefines Affordable Luxury Watches
Chinese watchmaker CIGA Design has launched its latest timepiece, the Hunter Tourbillon. Priced at $1,999, the watch offers high-end features at an accessible cost. Early access is now open through the brand’s official website. The Hunter Tourbillon stands out with its Grade 5 titanium case, shaped in a tonneau silhouette. Measuring 47.45 x 41.50mm and just 12.4mm thick, it combines a bold presence with a lightweight feel. Both the front and back feature curved sapphire crystals, treated with anti-reflective coating for clarity.
Inside, the watch runs on CIGA’s in-house Caliber CD-011, a hand-wound skeleton tourbillon movement. It includes twin mainspring barrels, 26 jewels, and a 72-hour power reserve. The movement operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz) and is visible through the transparent caseback. The watch comes with two strap options: a Grade 2 titanium H-link bracelet and a backup fluororubber strap. Buyers can choose from three colourways—Carbon, Silver, and Blue. Water resistance is rated at 5 ATM, making it suitable for everyday wear.
The Hunter Tourbillon reinforces CIGA Design’s reputation for blending luxury and affordability. Its combination of a tourbillon movement, titanium construction, and versatile styling sets it apart in its price range. Early adopters can secure the watch now via the brand’s website.
