City Mayor Announces Launch of Municipal Asphalt Plant

Road repair crews will begin emergency restoration work on city streets using hot-mix asphalt this week, Sergei Shelest announced.

Last year, the city acquired a new asphalt production plant worth 150 million rubles, with a capacity of 240 tons of asphalt concrete mix per hour.

"It's particularly worth noting that the facility meets high environmental standards," Sheles emphasized.

The old equipment at the municipal asphalt plant will also remain in operation, allowing the city to accelerate the pace and scale of its summer repair campaign.
