ClearBank and Fiat Republic partner to accelerate euro crypto payments

ClearBank has teamed up with Fiat Republic to improve euro payment services. The deal marks the first use of ClearBank’s new SEPA Indirect product. Both companies see it as a key step forward in crypto banking. Fiat Republic will now offer its customers faster euro transactions through ClearBank’s system. The partnership also provides virtual IBANs issued directly by ClearBank. This allows Fiat Republic to keep its own banking identifiers (BICs) while maintaining a seamless customer experience.

The SEPA Indirect model meets strict standards for security and regulatory compliance. ClearBank handles all scheme access and settlement processes for Fiat Republic. Tristan Kirchner, CEO of ClearBank Europe, stressed that reliable euro payments should never slow down business growth. Adam Bialy, Founder and CEO of Fiat Republic, called the collaboration a major milestone. ClearBank has additional plans for Europe, with several new products expected to launch this year.

The agreement gives Fiat Republic’s clients quicker and more efficient euro payment options. Virtual IBANs and retained branding are central to the service. ClearBank’s expansion in Europe continues with further product rollouts planned for 2024.
