Deel Local Payroll has introduced embedded payroll payments for UK businesses. The new feature allows companies to process salaries and pay employees in one step using Open Banking transfers. It aims to cut down on manual errors and streamline payroll operations. The embedded system removes the need for exporting payment files, prefunding separate wallets, or switching between platforms. Payroll managers can now handle everything within Deel, reducing admin work and the risk of late or incorrect payments.
Powered by Crezco—a UK-based, FCA-regulated payments platform—the service supports bulk salary payments with secure bank authentication. Users can schedule payments flexibly and track their status in real time. However, each batch is limited to 500 transactions, with alternative methods available for larger payrolls.
Currently, the feature is only available to Deel Local Payroll customers in the UK. Businesses in Ireland do not yet have access to this service. The embedded approach improves operational security by eliminating manual data entry mistakes and incorrect beneficiary details. It also gives businesses clearer visibility over outgoing salary payments. The system is now live for eligible UK customers using Deel Local Payroll.
