Lünen/Dortmund (straßen.nrw): The Ruhr regional office of Straßen.NRW is set to begin renewal work on sections 2 and 3 of the B236 in Dortmund. As a result, a new traffic routing system will be implemented starting Monday (March 9).
To facilitate the upcoming construction, lanes in both directions between the A2 Dortmund-Nordost interchange and the underpass at Am Bellwinkelhof will initially be shifted and narrowed. This will also shorten the entry and exit ramps at the Dortmund-Derne junction.
Road Widening Toward Lünen
During the current construction phase, the roadway in the direction of Lünen will be widened to allow traffic to be diverted onto this side in the next step. Work can then commence on renewing the lanes heading toward Schwerte.
