Dubai RTA and Union Properties team up to streamline road infrastructure

Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has signed a new cooperation agreement with Union Properties PJSC. The deal aims to improve how road right-of-way is managed across major development zones in the city. Both parties see it as a step toward smoother traffic and safer infrastructure. The agreement was signed by Hussain Al Banna on behalf of RTA and Amer Khansaheb for Union Properties. It follows similar partnerships already in place with developers such as Emaar Properties, DAMAC Properties, and Majid Al Futtaim Properties.

The collaboration will focus on better coordination in managing road access and infrastructure. It aligns with Dubai's Law No. 4 of 2021, which regulates road use and development. Union Properties highlighted that the deal will create a unified approach for projects like MotorCity. RTA's strategy involves working closely with leading developers and free zones across Dubai. The goal is to preserve the city's urban landscape while ensuring sustainable operations. Improved traffic flow and enhanced safety for drivers and pedestrians are key expected outcomes.

The partnership will establish clearer guidelines for road infrastructure within Union Properties' developments. It also reinforces RTA's ongoing efforts to streamline road management in Dubai. Both organisations will now work together to implement the agreement's terms.
