Eindhoven Airport's 2027 closure forces Transavia to relocate flights and aircraft

Eindhoven Airport will close to all air traffic from February 1 to July 18, 2027, due to major runway renovations. Transavia has announced it will temporarily relocate its operations to Maastricht Aachen Airport and Weeze Airport during this period.

Of the nine aircraft normally based in Eindhoven, two will be redeployed to Maastricht and four to Weeze, while the remaining three will be assigned to other routes in the airline's network.

From Weeze, Transavia will continue serving destinations including Alicante, Málaga, Barcelona, Faro, and Tenerife. Flights from Maastricht will cover routes to Alicante, Gran Canaria, Palma de Mallorca, and Valencia.
