FESCO and Resurs team up to accelerate Asia-bound exports via Primorye

PrimaMedia, 20 March. Transport group FESCO (managed by Rosatom) and OOO Resurs (Chelyabinsk Oblast, producer of large-sized quick-prepared goods under the brand 'Uvelka') have concluded an agreement on cooperation in the sphere of export deliveries to Asia through Primorye, reports IA PrimaMedia.

In particular, it is planned to organize regular container train departures from Formachevo station (South Ural Railway - a branch of Russian Railways) to Vladivostok, then to the own sea services from 'Vladivostok Sea Trade Port' (VMTP, part of FESCO) to countries in South and Southeast Asia.

In addition, the possibility of organizing container transportation through dry land border crossings with China will be considered.

"The agro-industrial sector has been actively increasing export to Asia countries over the past few years, and for producers, reliable logistics ensuring delivery exactly on time plays a key role," said Alexey Kravchenko, Commercial Director of FESCO Integrated Transport (FIT, part of FESCO) at the ceremony of signing the agreement.

Resurs has a production and logistics complex in Uvelsky settlement of Chelyabinsk Oblast with a capacity of 75 tons of production per day. The company plans to build an elevator for 1.2 billion rubles.
