Frontier Airlines launches daily nonstop flights from NYC to Atlanta and Las Vegas

Frontier Airlines is expanding its network with new nonstop routes. The carrier will launch daily flights between New York (JFK) and Atlanta (ATL) starting on 13 August 2024. Another new service from New York (JFK) to Las Vegas (LAS) will begin on the same day. The New York to Atlanta route will see flights depart JFK at 8:56 a.m., arriving in Atlanta at 11:25 a.m. Return flights will leave Atlanta at 5:45 a.m. and land in New York at 8:06 a.m.

Frontier aims to increase competition on the busy New York-Atlanta corridor. The airline hopes this will encourage lower fares across all airlines serving the route. Tickets are available in bundles from $39, covering a carry-on bag, standard seat selection, and waived change or cancellation fees.

Travellers booking these flights may benefit from using credit cards that reward airfare purchases. Cards like the Platinum Card from American Express or Chase Sapphire Reserve offer perks for such transactions. The new services will start on 13 August 2024. Frontier’s expansion gives passengers more options for travel between New York and Atlanta. The airline’s bundled fares and flexible policies could appeal to budget-conscious flyers.
