Short-Term Construction Work Disrupts Hannover S-Bahn Night Services

Hannover's S7 line faces weekend delays due to unplanned trackwork

Due to last-minute construction, overnight services on Hannover's S7 line will face disruptions northeast of the city. According to a Saturday evening announcement from S-Bahn Hannover, infrastructure operator DB InfraGO AG has scheduled unscheduled work between Burgdorf and Celle, reducing the route to a single track.

From 12:30 a.m., the S7 will terminate at Burgdorf, shuttling back toward Hannover Central Station. A replacement bus service will operate between Burgdorf and Celle, stopping at all stations along the route.

The work is expected to continue until early Sunday morning, with passengers advised to expect delays and service changes during nighttime travel.
