Khabarovsk Airport unveils major spring-summer flight expansion across Asia

Khabarovsk Airport is preparing for a major expansion of its flight schedule starting March 29. The new spring-summer timetable will run until October 24, bringing more connections to Russia, China, Vietnam, and Uzbekistan. Several airlines have announced increased frequencies and new routes. From March 29, Aeroflot will keep its direct flights to Sanya at three times a week. The airline will also expand services to Moscow, offering up to six daily flights under the Aeroflot Group banner. Domestic routes will see a boost too, with flights to Novosibirsk rising to three per day on certain weekdays.

Aurora Airlines is set to introduce new and enhanced routes to China. For the first time, the carrier will fly twice weekly to Shanghai. Services to Harbin and Beijing will also increase, each operating four times a week. Meanwhile, Uzbekistan Airways plans to double its flights to Tashkent, running twice weekly.

One of the most notable changes is the return of regular flights to Dalian in June. The route has been absent for nearly 15 years. Additionally, VietJet Air will launch its first-ever service from Khabarovsk to Da Nang on April 22.

As of late March 2026, no other international Chinese destinations are served from Khabarovsk with regular scheduled flights. Search results confirm that direct routes to Shanghai, Harbin, and other cities will only begin in April. The expanded schedule will run for nearly seven months, ending on October 24. Passengers will have more options for travel within Russia, as well as new and resumed connections to China, Vietnam, and Uzbekistan. The changes reflect growing demand and restored routes after long pauses.
