Khabarovsk refreshes road markings in citywide sanitation push
Khabarovsk is refreshing its road markings as part of a wider sanitation drive. The updates will start in the downtown area, with crews focusing first on Pushkin Street before moving toward Komsomolskaya Square. Work could begin as early as next week, depending on the weather. The city is replacing old road paint with thermoplastic markings, which last longer and remain more visible. Pedestrian crossings will all use plastic-based materials, with one on Krasnoretchensky Lane already repainted.
Over the next two months, crews will refresh markings across Khabarovsk. The effort ties into a broader campaign that includes installing new trash bins and replacing worn benches. Two citywide cleanup events are also planned for April 25 and May 16. The updates aim to improve road safety and city cleanliness. Thermoplastic markings will enhance visibility, while additional bins and benches address public convenience. The campaign runs through the spring, with ongoing work scheduled across the city.
