Klarna and Minor Hotels team up for flexible travel payments across Europe

Klarna and Minor Hotels have announced a new partnership to simplify payments for travellers. The deal allows guests to split booking costs into interest-free instalments across 13 European countries. Both companies aim to make travel planning more flexible and convenient. The collaboration covers 13 key markets, including Germany, France, and the United Kingdom. Other countries involved are Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland, Portugal, Greece, Finland, and Ireland. Travellers in these regions can now use Klarna’s payment options when booking with Minor Hotels.

Minor Hotels operates over 640 properties worldwide, spanning 63 countries. Its portfolio includes well-known brands such as Anantara, Tivoli, NH Collection, and Avani. Guests booking through any of these brands will see Klarna as a payment choice at checkout.

With this partnership, customers can pay upfront or divide the total into three equal, interest-free payments. Raji Behal, Klarna’s Head of Southern and Western Europe, UK & Ireland, highlighted the goal of making bookings smoother. The new system removes financial barriers, offering more control over travel budgets. The partnership expands Klarna’s reach within the travel sector while giving Minor Hotels’ guests greater payment flexibility. Available in 13 European markets, the option to split costs could encourage more bookings. Travellers now have an additional way to manage expenses when planning trips.
