Komsomolsk-on-Amur fixes heating pipeline early, restores bus routes
Komsomolsk-on-Amur has completed major repairs on a key heating pipeline ahead of schedule. The city’s public transport system has now returned to normal operation. Meanwhile, officials are preparing new rules for passenger services that could bring further changes in 2026. The overhaul of the heating pipeline on Truda Avenue, 58, began on June 1. Workers were initially given until June 11 to finish the job. Instead, they completed the repairs several days early.
During the work, several bus routes were temporarily altered. Buses No. 8, 11, 14, 19, and 25 had to follow detours. Now that the repairs are done, all five routes have returned to their usual schedules. Separately, the city administration is drafting a new regulatory document for scheduled passenger services. If approved, these rules could lead to adjustments in public transport routes by 2026.
The early completion of the heating pipeline repairs has allowed buses to resume their standard routes. Residents can now use services No. 8, 11, 14, 19, and 25 without disruption. The proposed 2026 changes will depend on the final version of the new passenger service regulations.
