Krasnodar Deputy Mayor Honored for Transforming City Infrastructure

Vladimir Arkhipov, Deputy Mayor of Krasnodar, has received the regional medal For Outstanding Contribution to the Development of Krasnodar Krai. The award recognises his work in improving the city's infrastructure and housing. Yuri Savenko, acting transport minister for Kuban, presented the honour.

Arkhipov has played a key role in Krasnodar's urban development since taking office. As deputy mayor, he led projects to modernise transport, including new tram routes and major road upgrades. His efforts also expanded affordable housing, with over 500,000 square metres built between 2020 and 2025.

His contributions have earned multiple regional commendations. The latest medal, awarded in 2025, highlights his impact on living standards and economic growth in Krasnodar Krai.

Yuri Savenko, who became acting head of Kuban's Transport Ministry in February 2023, presented the award. The ceremony acknowledged Arkhipov's long-term dedication to infrastructure and public services in the region.

The medal formalises Arkhipov's reputation as a driving force behind Krasnodar's development. His projects in transport, roads, and housing have reshaped the city's landscape. Regional officials continue to recognise his work as vital to the area's progress.
