Krasnoyarsk boosts suburban rail capacity ahead of dacha season rush
Krasnoyarsk’s suburban rail network is preparing for the start of the dacha season with extra capacity. From April 18–19, six-car trains will run on weekends to handle increased passenger numbers during busy travel times.
The extended services will operate on key routes, including stops at Zykovskaya, Kamarchaga, and Chernorechenskaya stations. These longer trains aim to ease overcrowding as more people head to their summer homes.
The additional carriages will run only on Saturdays and Sundays. They will be in service during peak hours when demand for travel is highest.
The changes come just as the dacha season begins, offering more space for weekend travellers. Passengers on these routes can expect less congestion and more seating options over the coming weekends.
