Krasnoyarsk completes major repairs on Maerchak Street in record time

Repairs on Maerchak Street in Krasnoyarsk have now been finished. The work was part of the national initiative 'Infrastructure for Life'. The restored section stretches 1.28 kilometres from Svobodny Prospect to the roundabout at Kalinina Street. Work on the street began in early April and took less than two months to complete. Crews resurfaced the entire road, installed new curbs, and repaired the sidewalks. Asphalt samples were also collected to verify the quality of the materials used.

This is the second major upgrade for Maerchak Street in recent years. In 2022, a different section received a full overhaul, which included the addition of a central divider.

Elsewhere in Krasnoyarsk, road crews remain active at 10 other sites. One of these is the access road near the Raduga Sports Complex. Repairs have also been finished on Odesskaya, Pogranichnikov, and 78th Volunteer Brigade streets. The upgrades on Maerchak Street improve safety and accessibility for drivers and pedestrians. The city continues to address road maintenance under the national programme. Further work is underway at multiple locations across Krasnoyarsk.
