Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin has visited Kuban to discuss key infrastructure projects with regional leaders. During the meeting, Governor Veniamin Kondratyev briefed him on local development plans. Among the priorities were upgrades to wastewater treatment and improvements in traffic management across Krasnodar. Khusnullin stressed the need to speed up construction of wastewater treatment plants. These facilities play a vital role in protecting the Black Sea's ecological health. They also ensure cleaner water for residents in the region.
Separately, Krasnodar's Road Innovation Center has joined the national Labour Productivity project. The move aims to streamline operations and adopt lean technologies. Officials expect this to cut costs and enhance road safety. The initiative will also accelerate traffic flow data processing. As a result, the region's entire road network should see reduced operational expenses. Federal support will further boost traffic management systems in Krasnodar.
The projects focus on two main areas: environmental protection and transport efficiency. Faster wastewater treatment construction will help safeguard local water sources. Meanwhile, the Labour Productivity project targets a 15-20% efficiency gain for the Road Innovation Center.
