Train line closed - Landchesbahn trains cancelled - Ländchesbahn cancels all weekend trains between Niedernhausen and Wiesbaden
Passengers on the Ländchesbahn line will face major disruptions from late Friday night until early Monday morning. The railway company has cancelled all services between Niedernhausen and Wiesbaden during this period. A revised timetable with replacement buses has now been published online.
The suspension begins at 10:15 p.m. on Friday and lasts until 3:00 a.m. on Monday. No trains will run on the RB 21 route between Niedernhausen and Wiesbaden during these hours. Instead, replacement buses will operate, though they will not carry bicycles.
The disruption coincides with ongoing bridge construction work affecting the same line later in March. From late March until April 7, 2026, further bus replacements are planned between Niedernhausen and Limburg. However, no direct comparisons of travel times between the buses and the original train schedule have been provided.
Travellers should check the updated timetable before setting out. Those needing to transport bicycles will have to find alternative arrangements. The railway company has not yet confirmed whether similar disruptions will occur in future weekends.
