Lazurny's roads get a fresh start with major resurfacing projects underway

Road resurfacing has begun in the Lazurny settlement, targeting key routes in the area. The work forms part of the Krasnodar Territory’s regional programme to improve local infrastructure. Three streets are currently under repair, with more sites planned for this year. Under the regional programme 'Development of the Road Network in Krasnodar Krai', repairs have already finished on seven sections. Five more are still ongoing. This year, a total of 15 sections are scheduled for upgrades.

In Lazurny, Komarov Street is seeing work on a 1.95 km stretch from Tenistaya Street to Lapérous Street. Krasnodarskaya Street is also under repair, covering a 1.6 km section from Mira Street to the overpass. Mayorsky Lane has a smaller project, with a 0.169 km segment between Rashpilevskaya and Krasnaya Streets being upgraded.

All repair sites will receive new road surfaces, ramps, and sidewalks. Bus stop pavilions and road signs will be replaced, and fresh road markings will be applied. Additionally, parking areas in Mayorsky Lane will be improved.

Separately, city-funded road repairs started in April. Work on the approaches to the Turgenevsky Bridge has already been completed. The current repairs will enhance road quality and pedestrian access in Lazurny. All upgrades are part of a broader effort to modernise infrastructure across the Krasnodar Territory. The full programme aims to complete all 15 sections by the end of the year.
